First in Human Trial definition
First in Human Trial means the first human clinical trial of a Licensed Product in the BT Program at sites to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties, as described in the BT Development Plan.

Under the BT Program, Sangamo will discover and optimize Collaboration Compositions of Matter intended for the treatment of beta thalassemia, will conduct IND-enabling studies of a Licensed Product intended for the treatment of beta thalassemia, and will, except as otherwise set forth in this Agreement, conduct the First in Human Trial of such Licensed Product under an IND filed by Sangamo.
