Financial Hold definition

Financial Hold means that a student’s access to financial aid funds (and graduation) is in jeopardy. If a student has not maintained a 90% attendance rate and a 70% cumulative grade, C-TEC cannot disburse student financial aid at the end of the disbursement period. C-TEC cannot disburse financial aid until the month after the student reaches 90% cumulative attendance and at least a 70% cumulative grade.
Financial Hold means the refusal of a financial institution to complete any transaction, including, but not limited to, a transaction as defined in Section 2(a)(8) of this act, or to disburse the proceeds of any transaction, upon the deposit account, funds, safe deposit box, securities, or other property in the custody of the financial institution.
Financial Hold. I understand and agree if I fail to pay my student account bill or any monies due and owing ▇▇▇▇▇ by the scheduled due date, ▇▇▇▇▇ will place a restrictive hold on my student account, preventing me from registering for courses, obtaining transcripts, or receiving my diploma. I understand that this hold will remain on my account until the balance is paid in full.

Examples of Financial Hold in a sentence

  • Outstanding Rent owing, without a previously agreed payment plan, is considered a substantial breach of this Residence Agreement and may result in Termination by Landlord (as per Clause 13 of this Residence Agreement) and a Financial Hold being placed on the Resident’s University record.

  • Financial Hold: I understand and agree that if I fail to pay my student account bill or any monies due by the scheduled due date, Fontbonne University will place a hold on my student account, preventing me from registering for future classes, receiving transcripts, and receiving my diploma.

  • Outstanding Rent owing, without a previously agreed payment plan, is considered a substantial breach of this Residence Agreement and may result in Termination by Landlord (as per Clause 12 of this Residence Agreement) and a Financial Hold being placed on the Resident’s University record.

  • Outstanding Rent owing, without a previously agreed payment plan, is considered a substantial breach of this Lease Agreement and may result in Termination by Landlord (as per Clause 12 of this Lease Agreement) and a Financial Hold being placed on the Tenant’s University record.

  • Financial Hold: I understand and agree that if I fail to pay my student account ▇▇▇▇ or any monies due and owing WPI by the scheduled due date, WPI will place a financial hold on my student account, preventing me from registering for future classes, requesting official transcripts, or receiving my diploma.

  • Failure of a Resident to satisfy the financial obligations stipulated under this agreement will result in a Financial Hold on registration and other official records.

  • I also understand this Financial Hold will prevent the release of my academic transcripts and diploma and will prevent me from registration activity such as adding classes for future semesters or other periods of enrollment.

  • Outstanding Rent owing, without a previously agreed payment plan, is considered a substantial breach of this Residence Agreement and may result in Termination by Landlord (as per Clause 14 of this Residence Agreement) and a Financial Hold being placed on the Resident’s University record.
