Fill-in means scheduling an Employee to work to fill in absences of other employees that are known to their Employer prior to the posting of the schedule. Employees shall be scheduled in accordance with their declared availability.

Fill-in means assigning a shift to an Employee to fill in a pre- scheduled absence prior to the schedule being posted. All fill-in shifts shall be assigned in order of seniority, in accordance with the declared availability, by classification first, at non overtime rates of pay. Where overtime is necessary the Employer will call within the classification first.
