Fieldwork Site definition

Fieldwork Site. The entity where the School Counseling candidate conducts their fieldwork hours. It could be a Pre-K-12, a college-level, or a community-based site. Office of Student Success (OSS): The office that works in conjunction with all three of School of Education departments including the Department of Counseling and Human Services (DCHS). This office is responsible for coordinating fieldwork placements.

  • THIS AGREEMENT may be terminated by either the UNIVERSITY or the FIELDWORK SITE with or without cause upon thirty (30) days written notice provided that (subject to the other terms of this Agreement) all students performing fieldwork at the time of notice of termination are given the opportunity to complete their fieldwork at the Fieldwork Site.

  • University and Fieldwork Site shall maintain statutory Workers' Compensation coverage on their respective employees working at Fieldwork Site pursuant to this Agreement.

  • The Fieldwork Site and the University will plan and conduct a period of orientation to the fieldwork placement experience for the students prior to the beginning of the fieldwork placement.

  • The Fieldwork Site shall, in keeping with its responsibilities to its’ clients and patients, have the right to intervene in those instances where a student may be functioning in a manner considered by the Fieldwork Site to be of potential risk to the well-being of the clients or patients, or, contrary to the Fieldwork Site’s regulations, rules, policies or procedures.

  • The Fieldwork Site will provide to the best of its ability for the students of the University, without charge to the University, such facilities at the Fieldwork Site as are reasonable and appropriate including desks, telephones, lockers or change rooms, access to a cafeteria and/or eating room, class and/or conference rooms, use of a library and a parking space (to be provided free only if no parking charge is paid by other persons).

  • The UNIVERSITY may terminate the field experience assignment of any student of the UNIVERSITY at the FIELDWORK SITE at any time, and may do so if the FIELDWORK SITE so requests in writing with a statement of reasons why the Fieldwork Site wishes to have the student withdrawn.

  • University and Fieldwork Site shall provide certificates of insurance evidencing all coverage described herein, naming the other party as a Certificate Holder with policy endorsements for Waiver of Subrogation against the other party and naming the other party as an Additional Insured.

  • The Liaison shall plan in advance of the expected commencement dates of each academic year, preferably two (2) or three (3) months in advance, for the fieldwork education program of the University students at the Fieldwork Site (the "Program").

  • Without written consent of the University, this Agreement is not assignable by the Fieldwork Site either in whole or in part.

  • Where the location of the Fieldwork Site placement is outside of the Province of Manitoba, and students engaged in the fieldwork experience are not resident in Manitoba, the University shall provide to its students insurance for workplace injury or accident through the Canadian University Reciprocal Insurance Exchange (▇▇▇▇▇) Student Accident & Injury Coverage Program.
