Field Failures definition

Field Failures refers to those units that display some aspect of functional failure while on site at end customer location.
Field Failures or "Product Field Failures" or "Board Field Failures" or "Field Service Returns (FSR)" are defined as Product failures occurring at an HP customer site, in the field (i.e. at distributor or end-user sites)
Field Failures means any Product received by an Eligible Buyer then distributed to customers which is or becomes defective due to non-compliance with Specifications or any other technical requirement under this Agreement.

Examples of Field Failures in a sentence

  • In-Warranty Field Failure = Provide total number of devices declared as IW Field Failures.

  • Your paperwork (Return Order / Bill of Lading) must include the following: ▪ Tecumseh model number(s) and respective item number(s) / Bill of Material (BOM) ▪ Serial number for each compressor ▪ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ returned ▪ OEM customer’s return order number and accompanying debit memo number ▪ Note the type of return (i.e., “Field Reject”) NOTE: All Field Failures MUST be accompanied by a Return Order form / Bill of Lading as part of the shipment with copies mailed on the date of shipment.

  • All Eligible Buyers, and their designated support organization, shall have the right to return to Seller all Field Failures, for repair or replacement, at Seller's expense, pursuant to the provisions set forth in Exhibit H-2.
