Field Case Managers definition
Field Case Managers means nurses or vocational rehabilitation consultants who operate locally (on-site) to coordinate and facilitate services to Claimant. Field Case Management shall be provided at KEIC's discretion or according to pre-determined criteria established by the EAGLE. Field Case Managers shall coordinate and manage health care services provided to the Claimant in a timely, cost effective manner, minimizing the recovery period without jeopardizing medical stability. Field Case Managers shall maintain contact with treating provider(s), Claimants and EAGLE. Field Case Management may include medical, vocational and/or serious injury/catastrophic care management services.
