Fiber System definition

Fiber System. The optical fiber strands, innerduct, conduit, building entrance facilities, associated appurtenances, and capacity owned by Owner and located throughout the Rights of Way of the City of Dublin, Ohio and the greater Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area (a general depiction of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A")
Fiber System means the Fiber Backbone, Fiber Service Rings and Service Drops owned by Tacoma Power.
Fiber System is defined for purposes of this Supplement to mean an existing twelve (12) strand system of Tempe-owned fiber running from Tempe Main located at ▇▇ ▇. ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (City Hall) to the ASU Center Point building located at ▇▇▇ ▇. ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇. “Facility” means two (2) fiber optic strands within the Fiber System. Tempe grants ASU the right to exclusively use the Facility for the purpose of extending ASU’s facilities as specified in C2003-150, Supplement 1, Section 1, dated 8/14/2003.

  • Except as otherwise may be agreed to by the parties, User is prohibited from performing any maintenance or repair on the Fiber System or User System.

  • Neither this Agreement, nor the license granted hereunder shall constitute an assignment of any of the City’s rights to use the Burlington Fiber System or the public or private property in which the Burlington Fiber System is located.

  • Annual maintenance payments shall be calculated using the estimated costs and expenses set forth in Exhibit B until the Fiber System is constructed, at which time such payments shall be based upon the actual costs and expenses.

  • The Licensee shall be responsible for maintaining all fiber patch cables purchased and used for use with its equipment, as well as all of its equipment installed on the Fiber System.

  • User shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with lateral connectivity to the Fiber System and shall pay for the costs of all splicing, distribution segment, service connections, and any ring or concentrator operations.

  • The Parties intend that nothing contained in this Agreement should act as a limitation, restriction, or prohibition against the City with respect to any agreement which the City has heretofore entered into, or may in the future enter into with others regarding the Burlington Fiber System, including the identified portion of the Burlington Fiber System covered by this Agreement.

  • Provide and/or control maintenance and repair functions on the User System and all facilities in the Fiber System through which the User System passes, including, but not limited to, conduit, innerduct, poles and equipment, shall be performed under the direction of the Owner.


More Definitions of Fiber System

Fiber System means the fiber portion of each Network that is owned or controlled by NextG and within which the Leased Fibers are located.
Fiber System means the City Fiber System and/or the TDS Fiber System, as applicable.

  • Customer System means the Customer's computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Customer or the Supplier in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Customer by a third party and which interfaces with the Supplier System or which is necessary for the Customer to receive the Services;

  • Supplier System the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including any software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Commissioner System);

To the extent that they are not subject to section 402 of the federal Water Pollution Control Act, ditches, pipes, and drains that serve only to collect, channel, direct, and convey nonpoint runoff from precipitation are not considered as sewer systems for the purposes of this part of this division.

  • Water System means any community water system or nonprofit noncommunity water system, each as defined in the Safe Drinking Water Act, that is eligible under the rules of the department to receive a loan under the program for the purposes of undertaking a project.
