Fiber Access Point definition
Fiber Access Point means either an MMI-determined splice point or an ODOT Drop Location at which ODOT Equipment may be attached to the Network.

The demarcation for maintenance responsibilities will reside at the Fiber Access Point.
ODOT and Public Users will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of all service laterals from the needed service point (e.g., sign or traffic controller) to the closest Fiber Access Point (each, a “Service Lateral”), and shall be responsible for all necessary electronic devices to utilize these Service Laterals.
In addition, ODOT may permit entities described in items (i) and (ii) (together, “Public Users”) to connect to ODOT Fiber at any Fiber Access Point, subject to the same conditions and restrictions that apply to ODOT as set forth in this Agreement.
