Fertilizer Grade definition

Fertilizer Grade means the minimum guarantee of available plant food expressed in terms of total Nitrogen (not ammonia), Available Phosphate and Soluble Potash. The values for Total Nitrogen (N), Available Phosphate (P2O5) and Soluble Potash (K2O), expressed as the grade must coincide with the guaranteed analysis statement. Only one set of values may be used in the grade designation and with the exception of Specialty Fertilizer, the grade must be expressed in whole numbers.

Related to Fertilizer Grade

  • Finished grade means the grade upon completion of the fill or excavation.

  • Fertilizer means any substance or mixture of substances that contains one or more recognized plant nutrients and promotes plant growth, or controls soil acidity or alkalinity, or provides other soil enrichment, or provides other corrective measures to the soil.

  • Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.

  • Highest adjacent grade means the highest natural elevation of the ground surface prior to construction next to the proposed walls of a structure.

  • Low-solids coating means a coating containing 0.12 kilogram or less of solids per liter (one pound or less of solids per gallon) of coating material.
