Feeling definition

Feeling means a property's expression of the aesthetic or historic sense of a particular period of time and results from the presence of physical features that, taken together, convey the property's historic character.
Feeling means empathetic understanding of musical content: its perceptual compre- hension. ‘Drive’ denotes the motoric intensity of music, perceptible as an apparent increase in tempo without any actual acceleration of temporal flow. The appar- ent acceleration is achieved by increased density of metrical and rhythmic accent- patterns. ‘Involvement’ denotes the degree of identification with music: an assumed unity between music and the individual performing or assimilating it. ‘Power’ indi- cates the perceptual intensity of music in terms of sonority and loudness.
