The Fall-Winter Semesters and Winter Semester only Agreements begin and end at 10:00 a.m. on the dates specified on the Agreements.
Students who are placed on academic probation as defined in the University of Toronto Mississauga Academic Calendar, with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.50 or less, and/or part-time students (2.5 credits or less in the Fall/Winter session) will be considered for occupancy on an individual basis.
In any event, every second year an Instructor employee may teach his/her full course load in the Fall/Winter Sessions.
Students must remain in Good Academic Standing as defined in the University of Toronto Mississauga Academic Calendar with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.50 or more and be registered as a full-time student (3.0 credits or more in the Fall/Winter session) to remain in residence at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
A list including Appointments in the previous Fall/Winter Academic Terms will be provided no later than April 30.
Appointment dates for Instructors and Teaching Assistants shall be as follows: • In the Fall/Winter session - nominally from September 1 to April 30 for a full- credit course and either September 1 to December 31 or January 1 to April 30 for half-credit course.
The teaching department shall post identified position vacancies, but may, at its discretion, post the position vacancies three (3) times in an academic year, i.e. Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer semester; or two (2) times in an academic year, i.e. Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer semester, or one time in an academic year.
Such authorized replacement is intended to fill short-term emergency staffing needs not normally exceeding one month during the Fall/Winter session or an equivalent period during any other session.
These are defined as the following: Fall/Winter Semester, Winter Semester only, Spring/Summer Semester, Spring Semester only and Summer Semester only.
The Subcommit- tee shall meet at least once every six (6) weeks during the Fall/Winter session and shall submit a summary report of its activities to the JCOAA once annually by June 30th.
