Faculty Unit. The bargaining team for the Faculty Unit at Maine Maritime Academy is in negotiations with management. Examples of Faculty Unit in a sentence

  • If the State agrees with the Union’s position, the employee will be placed in the Adjunct Faculty Unit within 30 days of the decision.

  • The State agrees to review the job duties of any such employee(s) at the College/University that the Union maintains should be included in the Adjunct Faculty Unit.

  • Sections in this Article apply differently to Unit A: Tenured/Tenure Track Faculty; Unit B: University and Senior Lecturers; and Unit B: Academic Support Professionals.

  • Faculty Unit Members Awards in this category are in recognition of research grant or other extramural grant acquisition by faculty unit members (other than librarian unit members whose extramural support incentive awards are governed by Subsection 2 of this section).

  • Contract (Probationary) Faculty: Unit members in accordance with the Education Code Sections 87601- 87612.

  • It is understood that ARTICLE XXXI (FACULTY GOVERNANCE) of the collective bargaining agreement between the Vermont State Colleges Part-Time Faculty, AFT, and the Vermont State Colleges shall only be in effect once the Full-Time Faculty Unit agrees to modify its collective bargaining agreement to allow part-time faculty to become members of the Faculty Assembly, and once each Assembly modifies its membership rules to allow part-time membership.
