Faculty Staff definition

Faculty Staff of “Staff Member” means administrative or support staff employed by the Faculty that are not Faculty Members.
Faculty Staff means personnel with major responsibilities for teaching and research in state and private educational institutions at the degree level.
Faculty Staff means the members of the teaching or research staff of the university whose status is equivalent to that of a teaching fellow or above.

  • Members of the Faculty, Staff or Student body may attend and make known concerns they have related to health, safety and environment issues.

  • If a Boston University faculty or staff member, or other person doing business with BU is accused of sexual misconduct, the investigation and disciplinary processes described in Boston University’s Procedures for the Resolution of Sexual Misconduct Complaints against Faculty, Staff, Affiliates, and Non-Affiliates (“Faculty and Staff Procedures”) apply.

  • Recognizing Discrimination or Harassment: Administrators, Faculty, Staff and Students should be alert to identifying forms of discrimination and harassment, whether such incidents take place in the course of workplace responsibilities, academic endeavors, or social activities related in any way or form to the life of the University.

  • Complaints of sexual misconduct against Boston University faculty, staff, affiliates, and non-affiliates will be investigated and resolved using the Procedures for the Resolution of Sexual Misconduct Complaints against Faculty, Staff, Affiliates, and Non-Affiliates.

  • Though such attributes of consulting may make faculty better scholars and teachers, the employer/employee nature of the consulting process has in it the potential for diversion of Faculty, Staff, and student employees from their primary activities and responsibilities.

Related to Faculty Staff

  • Faculty means a Faculty of the University;

  • Medical Staff means all physicians, dentists, oral surgeons, and podiatrists who have been appointed to the Medical Staff by the Board.

  • Key Staff means staff in positions of executive or managerial responsibility and/or whose performance affects the viability of the business;

  • MEDICAL STAFF LEADER means any Medical Staff Officer, department chair, section chief, and committee chair.

  • Pharmacy means prescribed drugs and medicines dispensed by a pharmacist and/or travel and allergy vaccines dispensed by a pharmacist or doctor.

  • Pharmacist means an individual licensed by this state to compound and dispense drugs, prescriptions, and poisons.

  • Program Staff means an employee or individual who by contract with the program provides a service and has the applicable competencies, qualifications, or certification required to provide the service.

  • Faculty Member means any person hired by the college or District to conduct classroom or teaching activities or who is otherwise considered by the college to be a member of faculty.

  • Clinical Staff means those employees of a provider who are responsible for providing clinical services to clients.

  • Supplier Staff means all persons employed by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, agents, suppliers and consultants) used in the performance of its obligations under this Framework Agreement or any Call-Off Contracts;

  • Students means students, their parents, guardians or other legal representatives.

  • RN means Registered Nurse.

  • Authorized medical physicist means an individual who:

  • the staff means all the staff who have a contract of employment with the institution;

  • Support staff means those staff holding an aircraft maintenance licence under Annex III (Part-66) in category B1, B2 and/or B3 with the appropriate aircraft ratings, working in a base maintenance environment while not necessarily holding certification privileges.

  • Public research university means Rutgers, The State University

  • Scientists means employees who are university graduates in the Natural Sciences, the Applied Sciences, Mathematics or Computer Sciences, who are not classified as professional engineers, and who are engaged in the application of this specialized knowledge in the course of their employment. This definition includes all incumbents in positions identified under the heading of “Scientists” listed in Attachment A to Appendix I entitled “Utilization and Advancement of Professional Engineers and Scientists” in this Agreement. “Scientists” includes employees who satisfy these criteria and who are required to perform supervisory functions.

  • School-sponsored media means all student media that are:

  • Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.

  • Supervising pharmacist means an Iowa-licensed pharmacist who is on duty in an Iowa-licensed pharmacy and who is responsible for assigning and supervising the duties performed by a pharmacy support person.

  • CRM means the DDA Case Resource Manager.

  • Pharmacist intern or “intern” means a person enrolled in a college of pharmacy or actively pursuing a pharmacy degree, or as otherwise provided by the board, who is registered with the board for the purpose of obtaining instruction in the practice of pharmacy from a preceptor pursuant to Iowa Code section 155A.6. “Pharmacist-intern” includes a graduate of an approved college of pharmacy, or a foreign graduate who has established educational equivalency pursuant to the requirements of rule 657—4.7(155A), who is registered with the board for the purpose of obtaining practical experience as a requirement for licensure as a pharmacist in Iowa. “Pharmacist-intern” may include an individual participating in a residency or fellowship program in Iowa, whether or not the individual is licensed as a pharmacist in another state.

  • Researcher means a person appointed by us to carry out research into theoperation of this Contract;

  • Professional Staff means the Medical Staff, Dental Staff, Midwifery Staff and Extended Class Nursing Staff;

  • School nurse means a registered professional nurse with Maine Department of Education certification for school nursing.

  • academic staff means such categories of staff as are designated as academic staff by the Ordinances;
