Facility Start-Up definition

Facility Start-Up means the phase of the Work which includes the sub-phases of Contractor Start-Up, Performance Testing, and Fine Tuning and ends with Final Acceptance of the Work.
Facility Start-Up means the activities following completion of construction of the Facility, but prior to Acceptance Testing, that are necessary to accomplish the initial start up of the equipment within the Facility that generates electricity, steam and chilled water, including, without limitation, the flushing of lines, pressure testing of pipes, filling equipment with oils and other fluids, and the provision of any equipment vendor services relating thereto.
