Examples of FA Cup in a sentence
In the event of any Club being required to play an FA Cup or FA Trophy match within 48 hours of a scheduled Competition fixture it shall have the right to apply in writing as soon as practically possible (but in any event no later than 48 hours after becoming aware of the relevant Cup fixture) to have its Competition fixture postponed with or without the consent of its opponent.
A Player registered on a Youth Loan may, provided it is agreed between the two clubs and the Player, continue to train with and/or play for his loaning Club (or club) in any match other than matches played as part of the Premier League Competition, Football League Competition, Football League Cup, FA Cup or Football League Trophy (i.e. First Team matches.) Participation by the Player in First Team matches for the borrowing Club shall take precedence.
Payments due in a particular year may increase if the club’s men’s first team wins the Premier League, FA Cup or Champions League, or decrease if the club’s men’s first team fails to participate in the Champions League for two or more consecutive seasons with the maximum possible increase being £4 million per year and the maximum possible reduction being 30% of the applicable payment for the year in which the second or other consecutive season of non-participation falls.
The "Domestic Double" is to be considered as the team’s victory in the apparent equivalent of the respective domestic league and FA Cup.
Unless specifically stated, all bets referring to a particular team winning a number/selection of trophies in the same season will be based on the particular team's performance within the following competitions: the domestic league, the apparent equivalent of the respective FA Cup and League Cup as well as the Champions League or Europa League.

In the Competition Proper, each participating Club shall include The FA Cup Logo on all FA Cup communication materials produced by or on behalf of it (including, but not limited to, the front page of each FA Cup match programme, match tickets (if it is not possible to include The FA Cup Logo on tickets the Club shall include a reference to the Official Title), fixture posters, stadium giant screens (if any) and Club websites).
If a Club wishes to use an image of The FA Cup it shall use the image issued by The Association and will follow any directions issued by The Association in relation to the use of such image.
The Association will from time to time issue images of The FA Cup to Clubs.
An Assessor will be appointed to all FA Cup matches from the First Round Proper onwards and the Home Club shall reserve 2 Directors’ Box seats for this purpose.
