Extraordinary Measures definition

Extraordinary Measures means measures implemented by Contractor at HACLA's direction to expedite the progress of construction of all or a portion of the Work, including, without limitation, (i) working additional shifts or overtime, (ii) supplying additional manpower, equipment, and facilities, and
Extraordinary Measures shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 5.4.1.
Extraordinary Measures means measures that may be taken by the Secretary of the Treasury in the event of a breach of the debt limit by the United States to prolong the function of United States Government in the absence of a debt limit increase.

  • Such Extraordinary Measures shall continue until the progress of the Services complies with the stage of completion required by the Schedule.

  • The Engineer shall not be entitled to an adjustment in compensation in connection with the Extraordinary Measures required by the Owner pursuant to this Section.

  • If the Engineer fails to implement or commence Extraordinary Measures within ten (10) calendar days of Owner’s written demand, Owner shall have the right to terminate the Engineer for cause.

  • The cost of Extraordinary Measures will be included in the Cost of the Work.

  • The Owner’s right to require Extraordinary Measures is solely for the purpose of ensuring the CM@Risk’s compliance with the Schedule.

  • The Authority’s right to require Extraordinary Measures is solely for the purpose of ensuring the Trade Contractor’s compliance with the Construction Schedule or as required by this Paragraph 2.11.

  • Extraordinary Items means (i) extraordinary, unusual, and/or nonrecurring items of gain or loss; (ii) gains or losses on the disposition of a business; (iii) changes in tax or accounting regulations or laws; or (iv) the effect of a merger or acquisition, all of which must be identified in the audited financial statements, including footnotes, or Management Discussion and Analysis section of the Company’s annual report.

  • Extraordinary Events Any of the following conditions with respect to a Mortgaged Property (or, with respect to a Cooperative Loan, the Cooperative Apartment) or Mortgage Loan causing or resulting in a loss which causes the liquidation of such Mortgage Loan:

  • Pandemic Measures means any quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure, sequester, immunization requirement, safety or similar Law, directive, guidelines or recommendations promulgated by any Governmental Authority, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, in each case, in connection with or in response to a pandemic, including COVID-19.

  • Noise Control Measures means measures to reduce the noise emissions from the Facility and/or Equipment

  • Supportive measures means individualized services that are offered to the complainant or the respondent designed to restore or preserve equal access to the District’s education program or activity without unreasonably burdening the other party. The supportive measures must be non-disciplinary and non-punitive in nature; offered before or after the filing of a formal complaint or where no formal complaint has been filed; and offered to either party as appropriate, as reasonably available, and without fee or charge. Examples of supportive measures include, but are not limited to: measures designed to protect the safety of all parties or the District’s educational environment, or deter sexual harassment; counseling; extensions of deadlines or other course-related adjustments; modifications of work or class schedules; campus escort services; mutual restrictions on contact between the parties; changes in work or class locations; leaves of absence; and increased security and monitoring of certain areas of the campus.
