External Disaster definition

External Disaster means a disaster occurring or imminent in the community surrounding a party. External Disasters include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, such as hurricanes, and man-made disasters, such as acts of terrorism. An External Disaster may affect the entire facility or only a portion of the facility.

Examples of External Disaster in a sentence

  • Each party agrees to use its best efforts to make medical and general supplies, including pharmaceuticals, available to a Borrowing Hospital in the event of an internal or External Disaster, upon request.

  • Natural Disaster means a flood, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, mudslide, tsunami, avalanche, landslide, volcanic eruption, fire, wildfire or blizzard that is due to natural causes.
