Extended Network definition

Extended Network means collectively the Existing Network, plus the fiber loops to the Existing Central Offices that have been extended off of the Network, and the Network Buildout.

  • If NFN's use of the Existing Network and the Extended Network results in the necessity of additional construction, installation, maintenance or repair in order to comply with NFN's obligations hereunder, NFN at all times shall remain responsible for all costs and expenses of same and shall proceed with such additional construction promptly and in a diligent and workmanlike manner consistent with the technical and engineering standards contemplated herein.

  • NFN shall be responsible for, and shall provide directly, all maintenance and repair on the Existing Network and the Extended Network in a diligent, expeditious, good and workmanlike manner, using first class workmanship and materials, and NFN shall use its best efforts to cause the Extended Network to remain in good working order and condition at all times.

  • US ONE shall not pay any amounts to the extent such amounts are related to (i) NFN or the Extended Network, (ii) employees, contractors, subcontractors, agents, or representatives of NFN, or (iii) the Franchise Agreement, all of which shall remain the sole responsibility of NFN.

  • Any Fiber Miles as to which the Option may be exercised pursuant to this Section 5.1 shall consist of a minimum of eight fibers and a maximum of 48 fibers per route mile, which number of fibers and location on the Extended Network of such Fiber Miles shall be designated by US ONE upon its exercise of the Option.

  • An Extended Network Window will require operational changes across the pipeline.

  • Any Fiber Miles as to which the Option may be exercised pursuant to this Section 5.1 shall consist of a minimum of * fibers and a maximum of 48 fibers per route mile, which number of fibers and location on the Extended Network of such Fiber Miles shall be designated by US ONE upon its exercise of the Option.

Related to Extended Network

  • Core Network means the transport infrastructure identified in accordance with Chapter III of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013;

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide a Service.

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Area network means a type of electric distribution system served by multiple transformers interconnected in an electrical network circuit, generally used in large, densely populated metropolitan areas.

  • Outage means the elapsed net-resolution time during which it is not possible to log-in to the Production Environment by any User, as determined by IFS or the Cloud Platform Vendor from automated health monitoring and system logs, due to a failure in the Cloud Platform. The duration of an Outage is measured during Service Hours on a net-resolution time basis from which the accumulated time for all Clock-Stop Events related to the Outage will be deducted, until the Outage has been temporarily or permanently resolved.
