Expensive items of equipment (at level 2) include:- • a car, used only for local authority purposes; • a minibus or transit van, used for transporting passengers or goods. A computer terminal or PC is basic equipment (level 1), because the active responsibility for its careful use is very limited and confined normally to the jobholder.
