Expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) definition

Expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) means a dental assistant who has completed further training and obtained additional licences or certifications that allow him to take on extra responsibilities and duties such as coronal polishing, taking impressions or applying sealants or topical anaesthetic, under the supervision of a dentist;

  • B-BBEE status level of contributor means the B-BBEE status of an entity in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment, issued in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Subcontractor means any individual or entity (including a subcontractor of a subcontractor) that enters a contract with the Contractor to perform part or all of the obligations of Contractor under this Contract.

  • Working Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.
