Exempt services definition
Exempt services are Iowa Medicaid covered services that do not require authorization from the patient manager in order to be payable by Iowa Medicaid.
Exempt services means:
(i) Services operating across the Barnsley boundary with minority mileage within, or express services specifically for commuters from outside the boundary into Barnsley except for Services as agreed (see appendix WP1.7 for specific exempted services);
(ii) Tendered Services and De Minimis Contracts commencing before the date of this Agreement (see appendix WP1.7 for specific exempted services) for the duration of each specific contract until expiry or termination date (FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT Tendered Services commencing on or after the date of this Agreement are not Exempt Services and are subject of this Agreement);
(iii) Third party funded services where such funding is a substantial or sole source of funding, excluding fare box/BSOG/concessions revenue;
(iv) Designated night services; and
(v) All School Services of all operators;
Exempt services means:
(i) Services operating across the Rotherham boundary with minority mileage within, or express services specifically for commuters from outside the boundary into Rotherham except for Services 218 and 221 as agreed;
(ii) Tendered Services and De Minimis Contracts commencing before the date of this Agreement (except Services 44/45) for the duration of each specific contract until expiry or termination date (FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT Tendered Services commencing on or after the date of this Agreement are not Exempt Services and are subject of this Agreement);
(iii) Third party funded services where such funding is a substantial or sole source of funding, excluding fare box/BSOG/concessions revenue;
(iv) Designated night services; and
(v) All School Services of all operators;

Exempt services are Medicaid covered services that do not require authorization from the patient manager in order to be payable by Medicaid.
Exempt services means all Services indicated as having a severity level of “1” on the applicable Schedule, Work Order or Change Order other than “Reserving Activities (EOM)”, ServiceID # 85.
Exempt services means any service in relation to the clearing and settlement of cheques and other payment items under the national payments system of the Canadian Payments Association that is supplied by the Association or any of its members;
