Excessive infiltration/inflow definition
Excessive infiltration/inflow means a flow rate in excess of acceptable threshold values as defined by Section IX.A.5. of this document.
Excessive infiltration/inflow means the quantities of infiltration/inflow which can be economically eliminated from a sewer system by rehabilitation, as determined in a cost−effective- ness analysis that compares the costs for correcting the infiltra- tion/inflow conditions to the total costs for transportation and treatment of the infiltration/inflow, subject to the provisions in s. NR 128.20.
Excessive infiltration/inflow means the quantity of infiltration/inflow which can be economically eliminated from a sewer system as determined in a cost-effectiveness analysis that compares the costs for correcting the infiltration/inflow conditions to the total costs for transportation and treatment of the infiltration/inflow.
More Definitions of Excessive infiltration/inflow
Excessive infiltration/inflow or “Excessive I/I” shall mean the Infiltration/Inflow (i) that cost-effectively can be eliminated from the Collection System, as determined by an analysis that compares the cost of eliminating the I/I with the total costs of transport and treatment of the I/I (including the capital costs of increasing the POTW’s capacity and treatment operations, and the resulting operating costs), or (ii) that, with respect only to sanitary sewer overflows (“SSOs”), must be eliminated regardless of cost effectiveness to prevent SSOs that present an unacceptable risk, as determined by EPA and MassDEP, to public health and water resources.
Excessive infiltration/inflow or “Excessive I/I” shall mean (1) the quantities of infiltration/inflow that the City demonstrates can be economically eliminated from its sewer system as determined in a cost-effectiveness analysis that compares the costs for correcting the infiltration/inflow conditions to the total costs for transportation and treatment of the infiltration/inflow or (2) the quantity of flow that results in chronic operational problems (including but not limited to surcharging, backups, bypasses, and overflows), whichever is less. “Excessive Infiltration/Inflow” or “Excessive I/I” shall not include (a) flow of up to 120 gallons per capita in any Day (domestic base flow and infiltration), (b) the quantities of infiltration that cannot be
Excessive infiltration/inflow. (I/I) means the quantities of clear water that can be economically eliminated from a sewer system by rehabilitation, as determined by a cost-effectiveness analysis that compares the costs for correcting the infiltration/inflow conditions with the total costs for transportation and treatment of the infiltra- tion and inflow.

Excessive infiltration/inflow or “Excessive I/I” shall mean the Infiltration/Inflow (“I/I”) and Rainfall-Induced Infiltration that can be cost-effectively eliminated from the City’s WCTS as determined by a cost effectiveness analysis that compares the costs of eliminating the I/I with the total costs of transportation and
