Exceptional Dispatch definition

Exceptional Dispatch is defined in Appendix A to the CAISO Tariff.

Examples of Exceptional Dispatch in a sentence

  • NCPA’s Scheduling Coordinator shall receive compensation for generating capacity and/or Energy supplied in response to Exceptional Dispatch Instructions, issued by the CAISO in accordance with the CAISO Tariff.

  • In the event that the CAISO issues a Dispatch Instruction, including an Exceptional Dispatch Instruction, that contravenes the NCPA EAP attached to Schedule 11 or any limitation set forth in Schedule 14 duly communicated in accordance with Section 7.1.1, NCPA or its Scheduling Coordinator shall not be required to follow that instruction, although it may consent to do so in a particular case (without prejudice to NCPA’s right to direct its Scheduling Coordinator to decline any such instructions thereafter).

  • The CAISO’s authority to issue Dispatch Instructions, including Exceptional Dispatch Instructions, for any portion of the capacity of any Generating Unit of NCPA or the MSS Members, other than in accordance with a Bid submitted to the CAISO by NCPA’s Scheduling Coordinator, is set forth in and subject to Section 7.1 of this Agreement.

  • If NCPA or its Scheduling Coordinator chooses not to follow such an instruction, it shall notify the CAISO as soon as possible that it will not follow the Dispatch Instruction, including an Exceptional Dispatch Instruction, due to the previously communicated limitation.

  • If a CAISO, or by the PTO when designated by the CAISO, Exceptional Dispatch Instruction or Performance Test would risk damage to the Black Start Generator’s facilities, the Black Start Generator shall, if time permits, inform the CAISO, or if applicable the PTO, of any such risk and seek confirmation of the relevant Exceptional Dispatch Instruction.

  • If the cause of Congestion is not directly attributed to MSS Member operations, and the CAISO utilizes Exceptional Dispatch Instructions to resolve the identified Congestion, the resulting costs shall be allocated pursuant to the provisions specified in Section 11.5.6.2.5.2 of the CAISO Tariff, and will not be solely allocated to NCPA.

  • The Black Start Generator shall, when instructed to provide services under this Agreement by the CAISO or by the PTO when designated by the CAISO through an Exceptional Dispatch Instruction issued in accordance with the CAISO Tariff provide Black Start Services in accordance with the requirements relating to Black Start set out in Schedule 2 and Schedule 3, the CAISO and PTO operating procedures, and the CAISO’s instruction.

  • Color Scheme that lacks experience operating a Ramp Taxi Medallion or Medallions, but seeks a Ramp Taxi Medallion Use Agreement To enter into a Ramp Taxi Medallion Use Agreement Exceptional Dispatch Performance: An average of at least 15 completed Paratransit trips (non-ramp) per medallion, per month over the 12 months preceding the issuance of the Use Agreement.

  • Taxi Driver who lacks experience driving a Ramp Taxi Medallion, but seeks a Ramp Taxi Medallion Use Agreement To enter into a Ramp Taxi Medallion Use Agreement Exceptional Dispatch Performance: An average of at least 10 completed Paratransit trips (including ramp and non-ramp trips), per month over the 12 months preceding the issuance of the Use Agreement, and has received no more than two substantiated customer service-related complaints over the past six months.

  • Energy from Exceptional Dispatches for Real-Time ETC and TOR Self-Schedules The Exceptional Dispatch Settlement price for FMM Instructed Imbalance Energy and RTD Instructed Imbalance Energy from Real-Time ETC and TOR Self-Schedules shall be the FMM or RTD LMP.

Related to Exceptional Dispatch

  • Dispatch means the act of reducing all or a portion of the electrical consumption of the PDR pursuant to a Dispatch Instruction.

  • Peak-Hour Dispatch means, for purposes of calculating the Energy and Ancillary Services Revenue Offset under Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5, an assumption, as more fully set forth in the PJM Manuals, that the Reference Resource is committed in the Day-Ahead Energy Market in four distinct blocks of four hours of continuous output for each block from the peak-hour period beginning with the hour ending 0800 EPT through to the hour ending 2300 EPT for any day when the average day-ahead LMP for the area for which the Net Cost of New Entry is being determined is greater than, or equal to, the cost to generate (including the cost for a complete start and shutdown cycle) for at least two hours during each four-hour block, where such blocks shall be assumed to be committed independently; provided that, if there are not at least two economic hours in any given four-hour block, then the Reference Resource shall be assumed not to be committed for such block; and to the extent not committed in any such block in the Day- Ahead Energy Market under the above conditions based on Day-Ahead LMPs, is dispatched in the Real-Time Energy Market for such block if the Real-Time LMP is greater than or equal to the cost to generate under the same conditions as described above for the Day-Ahead Energy Market. Peak Market Activity:

  • Dispatch Notice means a notice delivered by CAISO to Owner’s Scheduling Coordinator on a daily, hourly or real-time basis requesting dispatch of one or more Unit(s) to provide Energy or Ancillary Services under this Agreement. Dispatch Notices include: (a) Day-Ahead Schedules and Real-Time Dispatches where the RMR Unit or Units are flagged as RMR Dispatches as a result of the Market-Power Mitigation and Reliability Requirements Determination processes pursuant to the CAISO Tariff, (b) Manual RMR Dispatch Notices, (c) notices deemed to have been given by CAISO for the Energy actually Delivered by a Unit that starts or increases Energy output as a result of a “system emergency” as defined in the CAISO Tariff whether the start or increase occurs automatically (for Units specified in Section 2 of Schedule A as having the ability to Start-up or ramp automatically) or pursuant to a standing written order of the CAISO, and (d) Test Dispatch Notices given by CAISO under Section 4.9 other than Test Dispatch Notices issued at Owner’s request to test Availability or heat input of the Unit.

  • Economic Dispatch means the sending of dispatch instructions to generation units to minimize the cost of reliably meeting load demands.

  • Locational Deliverability Area or “LDA” shall mean a geographic area within the PJM Region that has limited transmission capability to import capacity to satisfy such area’s reliability requirement, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, and as specified in Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 10.1.

  • Expedited Dispute Timetable means the timetable set out in paragraph 164 of Call Off Schedule 11 (Dispute Resolution Procedure);

  • Required Notice Period means the number of days required notice set forth below applicable to the Aggregate Reduction indicated below: Aggregate Reduction Required Notice Period £$100,000,000 two Business Days >$100,000,000 to $250,000,000 five Business Days ³$250,000,000 ten Business Days

  • Locational Deliverability Area Reliability Requirement means the projected internal capacity in the Locational Deliverability Area plus the Capacity Emergency Transfer Objective for the Delivery Year, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, less the minimum internal resources required for all FRR Entities in such Locational Deliverability Area.

  • Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service:

  • Mandatory Tender Notice means, in connection with the Mandatory Tender of VRDP Shares, a notice delivered by the Fund or the Tender and Paying Agent on behalf of the Fund to the Holders and the Liquidity Provider specifying a Mandatory Tender Event and Purchase Date.

  • Availability Notice has the meaning given to it in the Grid Code;

  • Prepaid calling service means a telecommunications service:

  • Final Delivery Date means the date the Supplier is entitled to deliver the Products form the Purchaser even if the Products have not been called off as agreed in any Sales Agreement.

  • Mediation Notice is defined in Section 6.2(b).

  • Serious emotional disturbance means a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder affecting a minor that exists or has existed during the past year for a period of time sufficient to meet diagnostic criteria specified in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association and approved by the department and that has resulted in functional impairment that substantially interferes with or limits the minor's role or functioning in family, school, or community activities. The following disorders are included only if they occur in conjunction with another diagnosable serious emotional disturbance:

  • Co-occurring disorder specialist means an individual

  • Outside this state means a location in another state or a country other than the United States, whether or not the country is a foreign country.

  • Seller’s Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 8.5(a).

  • Notice to Proceed (NTP) means the authorization issued by the CO to start performance on this Contract.

  • Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

  • Cure Period means the period specified in this Agreement for curing any breach or default of any provision of this Agreement by the Party responsible for such breach or default and shall:

  • Company Cure Period has the meaning specified in Section 10.01(b).

  • Rectification Notice means a notice in writing that identifies a defect in a work and requires rectification of the defect within a specified period of time.

  • Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service and to the Employer.

  • professional diligence means the standard of skill and care that a Member would be reasonably expected to exercise towards a Client, commensurate with-

  • Training Event means either a Course or Online Training, or both.
