Ex-Combatant definition

Ex-Combatant means: (i) any member of the armed forces of the Recipient to be demobilized after the date of this Agreement; or (iii) any member of an APPM who fulfills the criteria for combatant status, to be set out in the legislation to be enacted by the Recipient pursuant to Section 6.01 (c) of this Agreement, to be demobilized after the date of this Agreement;
Ex-Combatant means any person who has laid down or surrendered his/her arms with a view to entering DDRR process, consistent with Article 43(2) of the Protocols Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and who have been registered by the Recipient as eligible for the DDRR Program.
Ex-Combatant means: (i) any RPA soldier demobilized after 1995 or to be demobilized after the date of this Agreement; (ii) any Ex-FAR (as hereinafter defined) soldier who remained in, or returned to, the territory of the Borrower after July 1994 or returns to the territory of the Borrower after the date of this Agreement and did not join any Armed Group; or

More Definitions of Ex-Combatant

Ex-Combatant means: (i) an ex-combatant as defined under the Development Grant Agreement of April 2, 2004 between the Recipient and the Association relative to the Emergency Demobilization, Reinsertion, and Reintegration Project and demobilized under said Project (“Group 1 Ex-Combatant”); or (ii) a member of the National Liberation Forces or the National Liberation Forces – Dissidents fulfilling the criteria for combatant status set out in the Recipient’s Decree No. 100/112 of August 19, 2004 and demobilized under the Project (“Group 2 Ex-Combatant”).
Ex-Combatant means any member of an Armed Group, or any child as defined by the Cape Town Principles associated with an Armed Group, who fulfills the criteria for combatant status, to be set out in administrative texts to be enacted by the Recipient pursuant to Section 6.01 (e) of this Agreement;
Ex-Combatant means a demobilized combatant formerly engaged in the Emergency and who is to be the recipient of relocation expenses under Part A.1 (c) (i) of the Project, to be extended pursuant to procedures set forth in the PIM and conditions outlined in paragraph 3 (c) of Schedule 1 to this Agreement respectively;
Ex-Combatant means a member of an Armed Group or the Rwanda Defense Forces (as hereinafter defined) fulfilling the criteria for combatant status set out in the Recipient’s Ministerial Order No. 066 of September 13, 2002 and demobilized under the Program.
Ex-Combatant means any Combatant having been disarmed, demobilized, and registered as such under the Recipient’s disarmament and militia dismantlement program.

Related to Ex-Combatant

  • Pattern of racketeering activity means the planned, ongoing, continuous or repeated participation or involvement in any offence referred to in Schedule 1 and includes at least two offences referred to in Schedule 1, of which one of the offences occurred after the commencement of this Act and the last offence occurred within 10 years (excluding any period of imprisonment) after the commission of such prior offence referred to in Schedule 1;

  • Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)

  • Bribery means the taking of an inducement for an action which is illegal, unethical or a breach of trust. Inducements can take the form of gifts, loans, fees, rewards or other advantages. A bribe might be taken in order to gain any commercial, contractual or regulatory advantage for the school in a way which is unethical or for personal advantage, pecuniary, or otherwise, for the individual or anyone connected with the individual.

  • Repudiation/Moratorium Evaluation Date means, if a Potential Repudiation/Moratorium occurs on or prior to the Credit Observation End Date (i) if the Obligations to which such Potential Repudiation/Moratorium relates include Bonds, the date that is the later of (A) the date that is sixty days after the date of such Potential Repudiation/Moratorium and (B) the first payment date under any such Bond after the date of such Potential Repudiation/Moratorium (or, if later, the expiration date of any applicable Grace Period in respect of such payment date) and (ii) if the Obligations to which such Potential Repudiation/Moratorium relates do not include Bonds, the date that is sixty days after the date of such Potential Repudiation/Moratorium; provided that, in either case, the Repudiation/Moratorium Evaluation Date shall occur no later than the Credit Observation End Date unless the Repudiation/Moratorium Extension Condition is satisfied.

  • Abnormal Market Conditions means conditions contrary to Normal Markets Conditions e.g. when there is low liquidity in the market or rapid price movements in the market or Price Gaps.
