A licensed motor vehicle dealership or insurance agency or other permitted entity that has been approved by the RMV to participate in its EVR program and to register motor vehicles electronically ☐H.
These DMV registration items are received in one of two methods: Dealerships participating in DMV's Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR), receive vehicle registration plates and stickers from the EVR program.
The Service Provider may not charge a customer any fee for services provided pursuant to the EVR program, except that a Service Provider may charge a fee for processing the EVR transaction provided that any such fee is: (1) specifically and conspicuously articulated to the customer prior to processing the transaction, and (2) does not suggest that any fee is required by the RMV or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Dealerships not participating in the EVR program, receive vehicle registration plates and stickers from DMV; either through the mail or in-person at a DMV field office.

If the SCDMV suspends or terminates the access privileges of any Participating Dealer, SCDMV may require that the Participating Dealer provide and maintain a surety bond in order to re-enter the EVR program.
SCDMV Administration has established Program Standards for the operation of the EVR program and standards for approved Participating Dealers and Third Party Participants.
If this Contract between the SCDMV and Participating Dealer is suspended or terminated, the Participating Dealer participation in the EVR program will be correspondingly interrupted.
