Ethnocracy definition
Ethnocracy means a regime in which the state is appropriated by a dominant ethnonational group, and used to advance its own ‘ethnicis- ing’ political and territorial agendas over contested space, resources and power structures. Most ethnocracies display several of the formal features of a democratic system of governance.
