Ethically definition

Ethically means behaving in a manner characterized by honesty, fairness and equality in interpersonal relationships and with respect for the dignity and rights of other people.
Ethically means applying the principles of morality in relation to what is right and wrong in conduct.

  • Health professional means an individual licensed or otherwise authorized to engage in a health profession under article 15 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.16101 to 333.18838, and whose scope of practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with a substance use disorder.

  • Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.

  • Professional Sports means a sport, which would remunerate a player in excess of 50% of his or her annual income as a means of their livelihood.

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Dentist means a registered dental practitioner whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list;

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Optician means any person licensed in the province in which the service is rendered to supply eyeglasses prescribed by a physician or optometrist to improve visual acuity, to grind or mould the lenses or have them ground or moulded according to prescription, to fit them into frames and to adjust the frames to fit the face;

  • Company Personnel means the personnel to be provided by the Company. The Representative/Engineer of the Company are also included in the Company's personnel. The Company’s Representative/Engineer means the person or persons appointed and approved from time to time by the Company to act on its behalf for overall co-ordination and project management at site.

  • Adult means a person 18 years of age or older.

  • Professional Persons means all Persons retained by order of the Bankruptcy Court in connection with the Reorganization Cases, pursuant to sections 327, 328, 330 or 1103 of the Bankruptcy Code, excluding any ordinary course professionals retained pursuant to order of the Bankruptcy Court.

  • Professional means an Entity: (a) employed pursuant to a Bankruptcy Court order in accordance with sections 327, 363, or 1103 of the Bankruptcy Code and to be compensated for services rendered prior to or on the Confirmation Date, pursuant to sections 327, 328, 329, 330, 331, and 363 of the Bankruptcy Code; or (b) awarded compensation and reimbursement by the Bankruptcy Court pursuant to section 503(b)(4) of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Independent physician means a physician who is chosen by the resident of the assisted living facility and who has no financial interest in the assisted living facility, directly or indirectly, as an owner, officer, or employee or as an independent contractor with the residence.

  • Specialist Physician or “Specialist” means a Plan Provider who has an independent contractor agreement with HPN to assume responsibility for the delivery of specialty medical services to Members. These specialty medical services include any Physician services not related to the ongoing primary care of a patient. A Specialist Physician’s agreement with HPN may terminate. In the event that a Member’s Specialist Physician’s agreement terminates, another Specialist Physician will be selected for the Member if those services are still required.

  • Professional athlete means an athlete who performs services in a professional athletic event for wages or other remuneration.
