espousal definition
espousal means the commencement of a spousal relationship, and if the Board of Trustees so directs, in the case of a person who is the married spouse of a member and could also establish status as a spouse under clause (1)(ee)(ii) if their marriage were disregarded, the commencement of their relationship shall be determined under that clause;
