ESMPs definition

ESMPs means more than one such “ESMP.”
ESMPs means the environmental and social impact management plans and procedures, as guided by the 'Environmental Control Plans' stipulated in all relevant Environmental Licences and/or IFC Performance Standard plans, including but not limited to the Emergency and Response Contingency Plan, Spill Prevention and Control Plan, Waste and Effluent Management Plan, Transport Management Plan, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan, Monitoring Plan, Water Resources Management Plan, ARD Management Plan, Biodiversity Action Plan, Chance Finds Plan, Workforce Management Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Community Health and Safety Plan, Grievance Resolution Plan, Influx Management Plan, Livelihood Restoration Plan, Closure and Rehabilitation Plan, prepared to ensure that environmental and social impacts, risks and liabilities are effectively managed in compliance with Environmental and Social Requirements during the construction, operation and closure of the Project, as such plans and procedures may be supplemented, amended or modified from time to time in accordance with Section 4.7 (Amendments; ESAP, ESMP, Corrective Action Plan and HSEC Policy) of this Schedule P (Environmental and Social Rider).
ESMPs means: (a) the environmental and social management plan set forth in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Recipient for the Karonga- Songwe Section, acceptable to the Bank, and disclosed in-country on February 24, 2015 and in the Bank’s InfoShop on February 25, 2015; (b) the environmental and social management plan set forth in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Recipient for the Mwanza One Stop Border Post, acceptable to the Bank, and initially disclosed in-country on March 31, 2018, and redisclosed on November 1, 2019, and disclosed in the Bank’s website on May 18, 2021; (c) the environmental and social management plan set forth in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Recipient for the Dedza One Stop Border Post, acceptable to the Bank, and initially disclosed in-country on March 31, 2018 and redisclosed on October 1, 2019, and disclosed in the Bank’s website on May 18, 2021; and (d) for a given activity included in the Project, the environmental and social management plan for said activity to be prepared in accordance with the ESMF, in each case describing the set of mitigation, enhancement, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during implementation of the Project to mitigate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, or to enhance positive impacts; as the said ESMPs may be revised from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Bank; and “ESMP” means one such plan.

More Definitions of ESMPs

ESMPs means, collectively, the Environmental and Social Management Plans to be prepared pursuant to Section I.E.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, in accordance with the provisions of the ESMF, setting out mitigation, enhancement, monitoring and institutional measures, including capacity building through training, required to: (i) eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts of activities to be implemented under the Project; (ii) offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels; and (iii) enhance any positive impacts thereof; as such plans may be revised, updated or supplemented from time to time with the prior written concurrence of the World Bank.
ESMPs means the environmental and social management plans and procedures that are required under the ESMS, including, as defined in the ESMS, the Construction Environmental Management Plan, Care and Maintenance Plan, Environmental Effects Management Plan, Caribou Mitigation and Monitoring Plan, Community Effects Management Plan, Health and Medical Services Plan, Drinking Water and Water Treatment Plan, Human Health Monitoring and Management Plan, End Land Use Plan, Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan, and the Aquatic Effects Monitoring Plan, each as may be supplemented, amended or modified from time to time in accordance with Environmental and Social Requirements.
ESMPs means, collectively, the Environmental and Social Management Plans, prepared and to be prepared in accordance with the ESMS and pursuant to the requirements of the World Bank Performance Standards, providing for detailed measures to mitigate adverse environmental and social risks and impact of Investment Projects/Subprojects.
ESMPs means the environmental and social management plan referred to in principles 4 and 7 of the Equator Principles III; defined as a document(s) that summarises the ERC’s commitments to address and mitigate risks and impacts identified as part of the impact assessment process, through avoidance, minimisation, and compensation/offset;
