ESIT Provider definition

ESIT Provider means an individual, that is either an employee or subcontractor, who provides ESIT services, including Family Resources Coordination in accordance with the CLA or ESIT Provider Agencies’ contract with the County, Part C of IDEA, and Washington’s Federally Approved State Plan regardless of whether or not the entity or individual receives federal funds under Part C of IDEA.

  • For those toddlers who are not potentially eligible for Part B special education, the ESIT Provider Agency shall make reasonable efforts to identify other possible and appropriate resources in the community, including the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP), Head Start, early care and education services provided by Tribal Sovereign Nations, and other high-quality early childhood opportunities to assist the toddler and family in transitioning out of early support services.

  • Funding is distributed as a lump sum payment and one-hundred percent (100%) of the funds will pass through directly to local ESIT Provider Agencies.

  • ESIT Provider Agencies are expected to facilitate the coordination of payment for Early Support Services from Federal, State, Local and Private Sources (including public and private insurance coverage).

  • These internal policies and procedures must include but not be limited to the administration and fiscal management of the CLA, subcontracting and providing oversight of ESIT Provider Agencies, carrying out monitoring and quality assurance activities and providing training and technical assistance to ESIT Provider Agencies.

  • This exception allows the ESIT Provider Agency in the out of service area to bill for applicable DCYF funding.

  • The LEA is responsible for reviewing existing data on the student, including information provided by parents, access through the district portal on the ESIT.Web application, and the ESIT Provider Agency, to determine whether the toddler shall be evaluated for special education.
