Seller acknowledges that it has been notified that the work and materials covered by this Purchase Order are for use under a Government of Canada Expedient Route Opening Capability (EROC) Defence Contract, hereinafter called the “Government Contract”.
Successful bidders to EROC Working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will remain in EROC for a one (1) year timeframe, at minimum.
However, employees who work in EROC may bid for, and accept, progression/promotional opportunities outside and inside of EROC (i.e., Working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Relief Troubleman, Relief Fault Finding Specialist etc.).
EROC shall operate under its own by-laws that have been initially approved by the Tompkins County Legislature and subsequently ratified through the signing of this Agreement by all Participating Agencies.
Tompkins County shall provide response to technology items or services for EROC partners between the core hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. There is no guaranteed response time for the overnight hours between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Emergencies notwithstanding, any County- provided service(s) outside of these core hours must be scheduled two weeks in advance and mutually agreed upon between Tompkins County and the EROC partner.
Tompkins County shall provide EROC partners with technical assistance and/or project planning assistance based on any new initiatives included in the annual EROC work plan.
EROC will be governed under the terms and conditions of the EROC By-Laws.
Tompkins County will administer those funds in accordance with the EROC annual work plan.
The EROC will coordinate with the Tompkins County Departments and other providers as necessary and agreed upon by EROC.
The provisions of this agreement shall apply only to field employees on permanent and rotational assignments to the ERO Construction District (hereinafter referred to as “EROC”) and short-term transfers to the EROC.
