EquiVantage definition

EquiVantage or the "Sponsor"), a Delaware corporation, and sold by the Sponsor to Norwest Bank Minnesota, National Association, a national banking association, as trustee (the "Trustee") on behalf of EquiVantage Home Equity Loan Trust 1997-2 (the "Trust") pursuant to that certain Pooling and Servicing Agreement dated as of June 1, 1997 (the "Pooling and Servicing Agreement") by and among the Sponsor, the Trustee and EquiVantage Inc., as Servicer (the "Servicer"), (ii) such amounts, including Eligible Investments and the proceeds of payments under the Certificate Insurance Policy, as from time to time may be held in the related Accounts (except as otherwise provided in the Pooling and Servicing Agreement), each created pursuant to the Pooling and Servicing Agreement, (iii) any Property, the ownership of which has been effected in the name of the Servicer on behalf of the Trust as a result of foreclosure or acceptance by the Servicer of a deed in lieu of foreclosure and that has not been withdrawn from the Trust Estate, (iv) any Insurance Policies and any rights of the Sponsor in any Insurance Policies and (v) Net Liquidation Proceeds.

  • POPI means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013;

  • Backsiphonage means backflow due to a reduction in system pressure in the purveyor's distribution system and/or consumer's water system.
