Enrichment program definition

Enrichment program means accelerated intervention within the school day or outside of the school day or school calendar led by individuals most qualified to provide the intervention that includes evidence-based reading instructional programming related to reading instruction in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, and other instructional strategies aligned to reading and writing standards required by KRS 158.6453 and outlined in administrative regulation promulgated by the Kentucky Board of Education;

Examples of Enrichment program in a sentence

  • The Parent Orientation may be coordinated with a Family Enrichment program only if the accompanying family event ALSO includes engaging, academically-focused activities for parents that are in support of student learning.

  • The Employer will pay all Nurses (including Nurses not eligible to participate in the Educational Assistance and Professional Enrichment program) for the time spent and expenses incurred by the Nurse on educational training and classes that are required by the Employer, in accordance with applicable law and subject to advance approval of the Nurse’s manager.

  • When a student is removed or withdrawn from the Enrichment program, the parent must make alternative arrangements for pick up and daily childcare, until or unless the child is reenrolled in the Enrichment program.

  • All tuition payments for the Enrichment program are due before services can be rendered in accordance with School Board Policy #3411.

  • The Enrichment program does not offer, provide or allow “drop in” service (i.e., paying for only a portion of the days or weeks within a payment period).

Related to Enrichment program

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education, and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.

  • Competing Program has the meaning set forth in Section 8.5.

  • Independent living program means a program designed to assist a juvenile to enhance skills and abilities necessary for successful adult living and may include but shall not be limited to minimal direct staff supervision and supportive services in making the arrangements necessary for an appropriate place of residence, completing an education, vocational training, obtaining employment or other similar services;

  • Root Cause Analysis means a method of problem solving designed to identify the underlying causes of a problem. The focus of a root cause analysis is on systems, processes, and outcomes that require change to reduce the risk of harm.

  • Pilot program means the pilot program identified and funded through the Funding Agreement and described in that Funding Agreement and its attachments.
