Engineering Trades definition

Engineering Trades means those callings approved in accordance with the Act and generally associated with the engineering industry where the majority of work is performed in a workshop or factory. Without limiting the meaning it will include the following apprenticeship callings: boiler makers, sheet metal workers, fitters & turners, coach & motor body builders, mechanical fitters, heavy vehicle mechanics, diesel fitters, fitting machinists, higher engineering trades (HET), aircraft engineer, avionics, electrical engineering, electrical fitter instrumentation, watchmaker, armature rewinder, engine reconditioner, die setter, tool maker, radio and television technician, printers and boat builders.

Examples of Engineering Trades in a sentence

  • For employees employed as Metals and Engineering Trades workers, the default fund will be Australian Super.

  • For employees employed as Metals and Engineering Trades workers, such contributions will be paid to Australian Super.

  • Working Hours The working hours shall be those generally worked by good employers in the Building and Civil Engineering Trades in Kenya.

  • For Employees other than Electrical Workers and Metals and Engineering Trades Workers, such contributions will be paid to CBUS or ▇▇▇▇(Q).

  • The classification category titles being: • Engineering Employees • Engineering Trades Employee Employees will be classified into one of the following classification levels which are compatible to the Company's needs provided the employee has the appropriate qualifications.
