THIS COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT is made and entered into between the City of Missoula (hereinafter referred to as the Employer) and the Public Works Engineering Employee Association, a local affiliated with Montana Federation of Public Employees (MFPE).
The Company will classify an Employee as either: • Engineering Employee Level A; or • Engineering Employee Level B; or • Engineering Employee Level C.
Such appointment will occur where the Company considers the Employee to have the necessary skills, knowledge and working behavioursbehaviors to effectively undertake the full range of duties required of an Engineering Employee.
Trades Employees who are employed at the Mine as a ‘Production and Engineering Employee - Trades’, whose employment otherwise would be governed by operation of Schedule A of the BCMI Award, excluding OCEs and supervisors.
An Employee classified at this level is able to perform the tasks of an Engineering Employee at Level 1 and who has completed up to three (3) months structured training so as to enable the Employee to perform work within the scope of this level.
