Engineering Build definition

Engineering Build or “Engineering Release” means beta, experimental, early access, field builds, and/or non- general access or non-maintenance release versions of the Software, including any Software designated accordingly on the Licensee’s LAC or accompanying documentation.
Engineering Build means a build, or compiled version of source code that serves the purpose of validating the functionality of a particular unit of the system. These builds are often completed by an individual engineer or a small engineering team, and may not be compiled with a standard or known SCM configuration.
Engineering Build means source and executable code of a Game for a particular gaming platform.

Examples of Engineering Build in a sentence

  • The Software is considered an Engineering Build if it is designated accordingly on the Licensee’s LAC or accompanying documentation.

  • Licensee acknowledges and understands that Engineering Build Software has not gone through RTI’s standard commercial testing, and is not supported by RTI’s support team.

  • B) If Software is designated as an Engineering Build on Licensee’s LAC, Licensee may not distribute or sublicense the Engineering Build to third parties without RTI’s prior written consent.

  • Licensee is not licensed to use the Engineering Build as part of any production system.
