Enforcement Body definition

Enforcement Body means an enforcement body as defined in section 6 of the Act;
Enforcement Body means: (i) any federal, state, local or foreign law enforcement authority or other governmental investigative authority (including, but not limited to, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC), and any attorney general); or(ii) the enforcement unit or compliance team of any securities or commodities exchange or other self-regulatory organization, including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Enforcement Body means any domestic or foreign governmental regulatory authority, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the SEC, any state attorney general, or the enforcement unit of any securities exchange, or any foreign enforcement body that is the functional equivalent thereof.

  • Each Member State shall designate a National Enforcement Body responsible for the enforcement of this Regulation as regards flights from airports situated on its territory and flights from a third country to such airports.

Enforcement Body means any federal, state, local, or provincial regulatory, supervisory, administrative, or governmental agency, bureau, or entity, including but not limited to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Department of the Treasury acting in its official capacity.

  • Enforcement agency means any agency granted authority to enforce the Federal labor laws. It includes the enforcement components of DOL (Wage and Hour Division, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. It also means a State agency designated to administer an OSHA-approved State Plan, but only to the extent that the State agency is acting in its capacity as administrator of such plan.
