Employee Start Date definition

Employee Start Date means, with respect to each Hired Employee, the date on which such Hired Employee commences employment with the Buyer or its Affiliates.
Employee Start Date means the Closing Date or such later date on which a Transferred Employee commences active employment with Buyer.
Employee Start Date has the meaning specified in Section 12.1(3).

Examples of Employee Start Date in a sentence

  • Any offer to a Potential Delayed Hire Eligible Employee may be conditioned upon the Transferred Employee Start Date occurring no later than six months after the Closing Date.

  • All Transferred Employees shall cease active participation in all plans, programs and arrangements of the Seller and its Affiliates relating to compensation and employee benefits as of 11:59 p.m. on the day immediately prior to the relevant Transferred Employee Start Date, and shall, from and after such time, be permitted to participate in the Buyer Plans.

  • From and after the applicable Continuing Employee Start Date, the Continuing Employees shall cease to be active participants in the Benefit Plans.

  • Vesting for this equity grant will occur over 3 years with one-third vesting on the first anniversary of the Employee Start Date.

  • All Transferred Employees shall become employees of the Buyer or its Affiliates as of 12:00:01 a.m. of the respective local time where the Transferred Employees are located on the relevant Transferred Employee Start Date; provided, that if any Transferred Employee is on a leave of absence approved by the Seller or any of its Affiliates on what would otherwise be such employee’s Transferred Employee Start Date, such employee shall not become an employee of the Buyer or its Affiliates on that date.

  • Within sixty (60) days following the Transferred Employee Start Date, the Seller shall deliver to the Buyer a list of the deductible expenses paid by each Transferred Employee under the Seller Plans during the current plan year up to the Closing Date and the maximum deductible under the Seller Plan in which the Transferred Employee was enrolled immediately prior to Closing (the “Deductible Notice”).

  • For Continuing Employees employed in the United States and solely to the extent required by applicable Law, NanoString shall pay each such Continuing Employee all accrued paid time-off for periods prior to the applicable Continuing Employee Start Date as soon as administratively practicable following the applicable Continuing Employee Start Date or as required by applicable Law.

More Definitions of Employee Start Date

Employee Start Date means the date a Transferred Employee commences employment with the Purchaser or an Affiliate of the Purchaser, which in the case of: (i) the Designated Employees means the Closing Date; (ii) the French Employee means the Closing Date; (iii) the German Employees means the German Employee Transfer Date; (iv) the Brazil Employee means the Closing Date;
Employee Start Date means in each case the applicable Employee Start Date with respect to each Transferred Employee.
Employee Start Date shall have the meaning specified in Section 6.14(c).
