Employee Division definition

Employee Division means a grouping of employees established by the employer. An employer may establish one or more than one employee division.
Employee Division means a classification of employees established by the employer that share contribution and benefit features, and for which the System establishes a bookkeeping entry in the reserve for employer contributions corresponding to such employee classification to determine contributions (plus/less investment gains or losses, and less administrative expenses) for purposes of actuarially tracking amounts due for benefits owed to the employees of such employee division. An employer may establish one or more than one employee division.
