Emergency Hospitalization definition

Emergency Hospitalization means admission of the Insured Person in a Hospital as an in-patient for a minimum period of 24 consecutive hours for an Illness contracted or Injury sustained by an Insured Person in an Accident, which occurs suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate medical care to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the Insured Person’s health, as prescribed by a Medical Practitioner.
Emergency Hospitalization means any medical event requiring immediate medical assistance to sustain life of the insured or to repair injury sustained by him in an accident as an inpatient in a hospital for more than 24 hours.

Emergency Hospitalization means the medical care rendered under conditions providing twenty-four-hour medical supervision and treatment (inpatient treatment) under sudden acute illnesses, conditions, exacerbation of chronic illnesses constituting a threat to life of patients.
