Embedded Consumer definition
Embedded Consumer means a consumer who has a supply agreement with the distribution licensee and avails the option of drawing power from any other person under these regulations, fully or partially of the contract demand, during a day or more in any month or more than one month during the year, without ceasing to be a consumer of the said distribution licensee. The embedded consumer continues to pay various charges defined by the Commission as applicable to the relevant consumer category.
