Eligible Team Member definition

Eligible Team Member means a former executive team member of a Participating Employer who is receiving severance pay or benefits under the Plan or a current executive team member of a Participating Employer who would be eligible to receive severance pay or benefits under the Plan upon the occurrence of all applicable contingencies specified in the Plan.
Eligible Team Member means a team member employed by the Employer and who is: (1) customarily scheduled to work at least thirty-two (32) hours weekly; and (2) classified as a team member at the director level or above (salary band levels BD1, BD2, BD3, FL1, FL2, FL3, SL1, SL2), but excludes: [i] team members employed in the Employer’s field operations other than the Senior Vice President of Operations who shall be an Eligible Team Member subject to the special terms of participation set forth in Section 6.D; [ii] individuals classified by the Employer as temporary employees; [iii] team members whose customary weekly employment is less than thirty-two (32) hours; [iv] seasonal team members whose customary annual employment is less than nine (9) months; [v] team members who have entered into an agreement with the Employer providing that they are not eligible to participate in the Plan; [vi] individuals classified by the Employer as independent contractors or other self-employed individuals; [vii] leased employees; and [viii] individuals who do not receive one hundred percent (100%) of their Base Compensation for the Award Period from the Company or an Affiliate.
Eligible Team Member refers to an individual who has been employed by HMH for at least 12 months, has worked at least 1250 hours during the preceding 12-month period, and is employed at a worksite with at least 50 team members within 75 miles of that worksite. “Next of kin” refers to the nearest blood relative of the individual.

Examples of Eligible Team Member in a sentence

  • Section 5 Each Eligible Team Member scheduled to work a shift of six (6) hours or longer shall be entitled to a paid meal period of thirty (30) minutes.

  • Section 4 An Eligible Team Member will provide proof of attendance at jury service, will advise the Human Resource Department and his or her supervisor promptly on receipt of any notice to report for jury duty, and will advise his or her supervisor or the Human Resource Department while on jury duty as to the status and probable duration of jury duty.

  • Section 5 A break in seniority shall occur only in cases of a voluntary quit by an Eligible Team Member, a discharge for just cause, failure to return to work after a leave of absence has expired, an administrative leave required by the Tribe, or failure to return to work after a recall from layoff.

  • Section 6 When the Tribe schedules full time Eligible Team Member to report to work and said full time Eligible Team Member is not put to work, he or she shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at his or her hourly wage.

  • The Tribe shall appoint the management and Non-Eligible Team Member representative(s) and the Union shall appoint the Eligible Team Member representative(s).


More Definitions of Eligible Team Member

Eligible Team Member shall have the same definition as set forth in Article 1, Section 2, except that for purposes of this Article 5 only, to comply with the Tribe's Right to Work Ordinance, any Tribal Member or Immediate Family Member shall be excluded from the definition of Eligible Team Member.
Eligible Team Member means, for any Accumulation Period, any individual affiliated with a Participating Company who is selected by management of the Company. The foregoing notwithstanding, an individual shall not be considered an Eligible Team Member if (i) his or her participation in the Plan is prohibited by the law of any country which has jurisdiction over him or her; or (ii) his or her employment has been classified as temporary by the Company. Any individual whom the Company determines is not an Eligible Team Member shall not be treated as an Eligible Team Member under the Plan solely because he or she has been classified or reclassified by any governmental entity as an employee of the Company. An individual who is selected to be an Eligible Team Member shall cease to be an Eligible Team Member upon being so notified by the Company.

Eligible Team Member means a team member eligible for contributions in accordance with relevant legislation.
