Eligible Article definition

Eligible Article means articles that have been accepted for publication in a Licensed Title by Corresponding Authors who are authorised by the Institution to submit the article to the Publisher under the terms of this Licence.
Eligible Article means articles that have been accepted for publication in a
Eligible Article. Types The following article types: all research articles and review papers Eligible Author The primary corresponding author who asserts affiliation to a Member institution via the email domain used at submission of the manuscript. Eligible Journals Journals eligible for open access publication under the agreement, as listed in Schedule 2.

Examples of Eligible Article in a sentence

  • The APC for any article submitted to the Licensor from an Affiliated Author, which is not an Eligible Article, will not be deducted from the APC Fund and will be charged separately under the Licensor’s standard process at Licensor’s standard list price APC for the respective journal (and which for the avoidance of doubt is not the APC set forth in Schedule 2 to these Product Terms).

  • However, deductions may be delayed in certain cases, and the foregoing shall not limit Licensor’s rights to deduct the APC for an Eligible Article at a later time, but not later than the end of the first quarter of the year following the Approval Date.

  • If other discounts are available to the Eligible Article, the highest single discount will be applied.

  • Eligible Article Types The following article types: Article, Brief Definitive Report, Communication, Hypothesis, Methods and Approaches, Report, Technical Advances and Resources, and Tools.

  • Eligible Article An article accepted for publication in an Eligible Journal during the Term that is of an Eligible Article Type by an Eligible Author.

  • For each Eligible Article with an Allocation Date after the effective date of termination, Licensor’s standard list price APC for the respective journal (and which for the avoidance of doubt is not the APC set forth in Schedule 2 to these Product Terms) will apply.

  • Licensee waives any claim it may have against the Licensor or said third party in the event that the Licensor or said third party refuses or declines to publish any material (or part thereof) submitted by an Eligible Author (i.e. an article which is not an Eligible Article).

  • Article processing charges for any article submitted to Licensor from an Affiliated Author and published under an Open Access License, which is not an Eligible Article will not be charged process.

  • The reports shall include the following details: ● Name of journal ● Article title ● DOI of article ● Article Type (as defined in the definition of Eligible Article) ● Name of Eligible Author ● online publication date (if available) ● Acceptance Date (if available) ● Type of Open Access license Licensor may change the means to provide the reports under this Section and make the reports available for download by Customer on the Platforms.

  • In cases where the author was an Authorized User at the time of conducting their research and have submitted the article for publication using the affiliation of the Licensee, they will be considered an Eligible Corresponding Author even if they are no longer an Authorized User at the point the Eligible Article enters the SAGE production system, e.g. if the author has left the Licensee institution.


More Definitions of Eligible Article

Eligible Article means an article funded by any of: UK Research and Innovation, British Heart Foundation, Blood Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK, Parkinsons UK, Versus Arthritis or the Wellcome Trust; by a Corresponding Author who has been authorised by the Institution to submit the article to the Publisher under the terms of this Licence.
Eligible Article means an article by a Community Author accepted for publication by the Publisher in respect of which the Institution agrees (under the verification process provided for in this Agreement) is covered by the Community Fee.
Eligible Article means an article by an Eligible Author accepted for publication by the Publisher under the terms of this this Membership Agreement).
Eligible Article as described in Part A. An Eligible Article shall include all text, audio, video and audio-visual material, abstracts, databases, tables, data, diagrams, photographs and other images or illustrative material and including all drafts of the Eligible Article, the version of the Eligible Article accepted for publication by BMJ and the Version of Record.
Eligible Article means articles (of the types research articles, review articles, brief reports, case reports) that have been accepted for publication in a Licensed Title that accepts OA publications by Corresponding Authors who are authorised by the Institution to submit the article to the Publisher under the terms of this Licence.
