EGAT definition

EGAT means the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, and includes its successors or assigns;
EGAT means Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, a company organized and existing under the laws of, and wholly owned by, the Kingdom of Thailand;

Examples of EGAT in a sentence

  • The plant, currently in the development and construction phase, is set to be finished and operational for commercial use (COD) by March 2025, supplying 19 megawatts of electricity under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).

  • EGAT shall, when reasonably requested by the Generator and at the Generator's cost, provide reasonable assistance to the Generator in obtaining, renewing and maintaining such Governmental Approvals.

  • The Generator shall fully apprise EGAT of the insurance requirements proposed by the Financing Parties (including draft documentation thereon) and the Generator shall use reasonable efforts to implement recommendations on such requirements reasonably made by EGAT.

  • The Generator acknowledges and understands that EGAT has entered into this Agreement in reliance on and in consideration of the Generator's representation that the Units will be in operation no later than their respective Scheduled Commercial Operation Dates, and that EGAT will include the Units in its various capacity forecasts.

  • The Generator shall use its reasonable efforts to cause the Financing Parties specifically to acknowledge such step-in rights of EGAT in the Financing Documents.

  • EGAT shall provide such consent if in its judgment the refinancing will not have a material adverse impact on EGAT's interests in the completion of the Facility in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Any Availability Payments made by EGAT in accordance with this Section 2.10.4 shall be calculated using the Contracted Capacity of the Unit.
