A non-probationary teacher with an Overall Professional Practice or Final Effectiveness rating of partially effective or ineffective for the second (2nd) consecutive year may choose to appeal to the District Professional Practice Review Team (DPPRT) for a rating change to any quality standard(s) or element(s) rated less than proficient.
Effectiveness rating shall be based on the final summative evaluation.
This model uses the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Framework for evaluating professional practice and also includes measures of student achievement in calculating a Summative Effectiveness rating.
An increase in a teacher’s compensation will be based on two factors: Effectiveness rating (evaluation) Experience and education Teachers who receive a performance evaluation rating of ”improvement necessary” or “ineffective” for the 2015-2016 school year are ineligible for any increase in compensation regardless of units earned in other categories of the plan.
Each teacher’s Base Salary will be annually adjusted in accordance with the teacher’s Effectiveness rating during the previous school year.
In accordance with IC20-28-9-1 increase in any category of compensation will only be given to Employees who received an Effectiveness rating of Highly Effective or Effective through the Tri-County Teacher Evaluation process.
For the 2015-2016 school year: $A = Effective = $1,100 and $B = Highly Effective = $A+$50 Each teacher’s Base Salary will be annually adjusted in accordance with the teacher’s Effectiveness rating during the previous school year.
In 2022-2023, each teacher’s Base Salary will be adjusted in accordance with the teacher’s Effectiveness rating during the previous school year.

There will be two (2) factors of the model: Category #1 Effectiveness rating (evaluation) and Category #2 (Experience/Education).
