EFFECTIVE DATE; TIME definition
EFFECTIVE DATE; TIME. The "Effective Date" of this Contract is the date on which the last of the parties initials or signs the latest offer. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE FOR ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS CONTRACT. All time periods expressed as days will be computed in business days (a "business day" is every calendar day except Saturday, Sunday and national legal holidays), except for time periods greater than 60 days, which will be computed in calendar days. If any deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or national legal holiday, performance will be due the next business day. All time periods will end at 5:00 p.m. local time (meaning in the county where the Property is located) of the appropriate day.
