Educational Bonus definition

Educational Bonus. Employees who attain higher education degrees shall receive an annual educational bonus to be paid during the first pay period of December. The qualifying degree must have been awarded prior to the beginning of the first pay period of December to be included in that year’s payment. Educational bonuses will be awarded in the following amounts: Associates Degree $325. Bachelors Degree $575. Masters Degree $825.

Examples of Educational Bonus in a sentence

  • If the teacher resigns from his/her position during the school year or is removed from the Service Record List through loss of right to re-engagement as per Article C.22.3.f, the Educational Bonus (credit or non-credit) provided during that school year may be deducted from the final pay on a pro rata basis.

  • Except as herein provided, in order to qualify for the Educational Bonus Plan, employees must have completed sixty (60) semester hours of college-level course work at an accredited university or college with a minimum of twelve (12) hours of course work in professional law enforcement development.
