Education Employer definition

Education Employer means a local school district, regional school district, county vocational school district, county special services school district, jointure commission, educational services commission, State-operated school district, charter school, county college, any officer, board, or commission under the authority of the Commissioner of Education or of the State Board of Education, and any other public entity that is established pursuant to authority provided by Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes, but excluding the State public institutions of higher education and excluding those public entities where the employer is the State of New Jersey.

  • District shall name the Agency/Work Experience Education Employer and the Agency/Work Experience Education Employer agrees to name Southwestern Community College District and the Southwestern Community College District Governing Board as additional insured’s under its respective policy(s).

  • Agency/Work Experience Education Employer shall provide sufficient instruction to the Students so that the internship provided meets both the Students’ need to learn and the Agency/Work Experience Education Employer’s internship opportunity.

  • To the extent Agency/Work Experience Education Employer is able, provide Students with safe working conditions within which to provide the internship.

  • Agency/Work Experience Education Employer will provide the District with a written evaluation of the internship that each Student provides to confirm or deny learning objectives were achieved at the end of the internship opportunity.

  • District and Agency/ Work Experience Education Employer shall secure and maintain comprehensive general liability insurance in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence with coverage for incidentals.

  • District and Agency/Work Experience Education Employer agree to notify Students that they are not employees of either Party and are not entitled to any benefits to which Agency/ Work Experience Education Employer or District employees are entitled, as set forth above.
