EASA Type Certificate definition

EASA Type Certificate. Upon receipt of a CFM application for a new or amended type certificate, the EASA will conduct a certification project. After the EASA finds that compliance with the applicable certification basis, as defined under paragraph 3.1.3 of this Working Arrangement, has been demonstrated, the EASA will grant to CFM a Type Certificate in accordance with Part 21, 21.A.21.

Examples of EASA Type Certificate in a sentence

  • An application for an FAA Type Certificate from an applicant in the European Union may be submitted for products with an EASA Type Certificate, or for products where application for type certification has been made to EASA.

  • Jet fuel specifications are identified as an aircraft operating limitations listed in the Airworthiness Authority (e.g. EASA) Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) and in the aircraft operational documentation (e.g. Aircraft Flight Manual AFM).

  • Agency (EASA) regulations referred to in this Attachment are, unless otherwise specified, defined to be the 737-800 Certification Basis regulations specified in EASA Type Certificate Data Sheet TCDS IM.A.120 Boeing 737, Issue 09, dated July 12, 2012.

  • For a new part, including a modification and/or replacement part, DAC/CTA shall certify that each part designed and manufactured by Embraer (or its subcontractors): - Is eligible and intended for installation in an Embraer aeroplane which has been granted an EASA Type Certificate; - Conforms to EASA approved design data and is safe for installation; - Is marked in accordance with Appendix 8 as applicable; and - Meets all additional requirements prescribed by the EASA, as notified.

  • The Export Certificate of Airworthiness should contain the following statement: “The [insert aircraft MODEL] covered by this certificate conforms to the type design approved under [insert JCAB or EASA] Type Certificate Number [INSERT TYPE CERTIFICATE NUMBER and REVISION LEVEL], and is found to be in a condition for safe operation,” and/ or any other import requirements text as specified in the [insert JCAB or EASA] TCDS.

  • An application for EASA Type Certificate for an aeroplane from Embraer shall be made in accordance with Part 21, Section A, Subpart B and Joint Certification/Validation Procedures.

  • Aviation Turbine fuel or Jet fuel specifications are identified as an aircraft operating limitations listed in the Airworthiness Authority (e.g. EASA) Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) and in the aircraft operational documentation (e.g. Aircraft Flight Manual AFM)).
