EASA Form 1 definition

EASA Form 1 means the form associated with an aircraft part that certifies that the part has been produced or maintained in conformity with approved design data and is in a condition for safe operation. According to point 21.A.307 of Regulation (EU) No 748/2012, parts can only be installed in a type-certified product if accompanied by an EASA Form 1. Standard parts and certain parts that fulfil the conditions described in point 21.A.307 of Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 are exempted from this requirement. These standard parts and certain parts include parts identified in CS-STAN as not requiring an EASA Form 1.

Examples of EASA Form 1 in a sentence

  • The FAA or EASA should receive a report stating the disposition of each deviation before an FAA Form 8130-3 or EASA Form 1 is issued.

  • For the optional equipment delivered packed and spare parts: • A Certificate of Conformity or other equivalent document issued by the Seller’s authorized certifying staff, for standard components, • An Authorized Release Certificate (EASA Form 1) issued on behalf of the National Civil Aviation Authority as per the above mentioned Production Organisation Approval, for other certified components.

  • All spares shall be from a Delta-approved source and shall have the appropriate FAA 8130-3 or EASA Form 1.
